Bharti Infratel in a filing to the Exchanges on Wednesday, announced that the company’s board of directors have declared an interim dividend of Rs 12 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the financial year 2016-17.
The company in the filing also said that the payment of interim dividend will be done on or before April 21, 2017. The board has fixed the record date on Monday, April 3, 2017. The stock on the NSE hit a high of Rs 317; and a low of Rs 310.5, and is down by 0.4% as of 12.15 pm in Wednesday's trade.
The stock has delivered negative returns of over 20% in a period of one year, underperforming the BSE Sensex and Nifty Service Sector indices over the same time span. Bharti Infratel Limited is mainly engaged in providing tower and related infrastructure sharing services.
