Infosys Books Seat In OIN To Share Intellectual Property

Formerly known as Infosys Technologies Ltd., the Indian IT multinational on March 28, 2017, has become a community member in Open Invention Network (OIN) to share intellectual property on Linux Programmes developed across organisations.

OIN is one of the largest open source software community with 2000 members.

OIN enables the Indian IT multinationals to access intellectual property of other companies through a sourced pool and without incurring a royalty fee. 

One of the US based banks that outsources services to Indian entities like TCS and Cognizant informed that it is trying out new customer applications on open source platform and DevOps Platform through mainframe ecosystem.

Keith Bergelt, chief executive, OIN, informed that he is pleased to be associated with premier IT firms like Infosys, in conversation with a leading English daily.
