Suncor Sells Canadian Crude Cargo To IOC

Canadian integrated energy company, Suncor Energy has sold a cargo shipment of offshore Canadian crude to India’s largest commercial enterprise, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

The company has not specified the details of the cargo in terms of size and capacity, but confirmed that it had won an IOC tender.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited is engaged in refining business. The Company's segments include sale of petroleum products, sale of petrochemicals and other businesses.

Suncor Energy is focused on developing Canada's petroleum resource basin, Athabasca Oil Sands. The Company operates in three business segments: Oil Sands, Exploration and Production (E&P) and Refining and Marketing.

IOC is trading in line with the major indices in the markets. BSE Oil & Gas index is trading at the 13412 level, up by 0.34%.
