Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., has reported its auto sales performance for Mar 2017, which stood at 56031 vehicles as compared to 52718 vehicles sold during March 2016, showcasing a growth of 6%. Passenger Vehicles segment sold 25,352 vehicles in March 2017 as against 26,885 vehicles during March 2016. The company’s domestic sales stood at 53,322 vehicles during March 2017 as against 48,967 vehicles sold during March 2016, a growth of 9%.
For the month of March 2017, the MHCV segment sold 1471 vehicles; and recorded a growth of 67% in exports, which stood at 2709 vehicles. Mahindra & Mahindra’s farm equipment sector, a part of USD 17.8 billion Mahindra Group posted its tractor sales number for the month of March 2017.
Domestic sales stood at 17973 units as against 13931 units in March 2016. Total tractor sales, considering domestic & exports during March, stand at 19337 units against 14682 units for the same period last year. In the exports market, M&M has sold 1364 tractors with a growth of 82% over March 2016.
