ICICI Bank Contributes Most to The Gains Of Sensex And Bank Nifty

The ICICI Bank is the fifth most active stock on NSE in the first half of the Monday’s trading session.

The stock has attracted huge volumes of 72,49,843 shares and traded value of Rs 218.76 cr. The stock witnessed addition in its open interest by 3.8%. With the increase in open interest and share price, the stock has been witnessing strong long built up position in first-half on Monday. The stock has given around 34% returns in the past one year.

The stock is hovering around its 52-week high at Rs 308.15 per share. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 303.5 per share up by 2.3%. 

The stock is contributing the most to the Sensex gains. It is also contributing the most to the Bank Nifty index gains.

The stock is likely to drive the Bank Nifty index on Monday. Meanwhile, The Sensex is trading at day’s high of 30357 levels at around 1210 hours on Monday. The Bank Nifty index is trading higher by 0.88% at 22871 levels near its day’s high.
