Israel Aerospace Ind Gets Indian Navy Contract To Be Carried Out With BEL

In a fresh development in the India’s mega naval project, Israel Aerospace Industries has won an additional USD 630 million contract to supply air and defence missile systems for four amphibious assault ships of the Indian Navy, reported the leading business daily.

Israel Aerospace Industries is globally recognised as a leader in developing military and commercial aerospace technology.

As per the reports, given in leading business daily, the said contract will be carried out with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) which serves as the main contractor for the project as part of the India’s ‘Make in India’ policy.

BEL closed at Rs 174.3 per share marginally down by 0.26% on BSE in the Friday’s trading session. Heavy volumes are seen to be traded in the stock in past two months. The stock has gained around 14% in past two months.
