Monnet Ispat Tanks Below 3% As Q4 Net Loss Widens

Monnet Ispat on Wednesday was down by 3.07% at Rs 36.35 per share at 13:55 hours IST on BSE. It touched a high of Rs 37.50 and a low of Rs 35.05 so far during the day.

The company on Tuesday reported 4.76% increase in net loss to Rs 459.52 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017. It had posted a net loss of Rs 438.65 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.

The company’s peers include Tata Steel, Sarda Energy Minerals and Balasore Alloys.

On the NSE, the traded volume of shares is 1,44,580 and the traded value is Rs 52.63 lakh. The free float market capitalisation is Rs 127.82 crore.

Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited is engaged in the business of conducting coal mining operations and manufacturing coal-based sponge iron and various other steel/iron-based products.
