Motherson Sumi Hits 52-Week High

Motherson Sumi Systems Limited (MSSL), the flagship company of the Samvardhana Motherson Group, on Monday’s trade hit its 52-week high of Rs 440 per share on the NSE. The stock of the company hit an intraday high of Rs 440 per share and an intraday low of Rs 430 per share on the BSE. The stock has delivered 60% returns in a period of one year and has underperformed the BSE Sensex and BSE Auto index in a period of one year.

Also recently, the board of directors of Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd at their meeting held on May 19, 2017 have recommended the issue of Bonus Shares in the ratio of 1 (one) Bonus Shares against the 2 (two) existing shares subject to the approval of the shareholders.

In addition, the company in its fillings to the exchanges added that the board has recommended a dividend of Rs. 2/- per equity share (face value of Re. 1/- each) for the financial year ended March 31, 2017.

MSSL, a joint venture between Samvardhana Motherson Group and Japan's Sumitomo Wiring Systems, is a leading manufacturer of various auto components including wiring harnesses and rear view mirrors.
