Pennar Engineered Building Systems Declines Nearly 5% After Weak Q4 Earnings

A leading custom designed building systems solutions provider, Pennar Engineered Building Systems’ shares during Friday’s traded declined in the red as the company announced the fourth quarter earnings.

Pennar Engineered Building Systems fell 4.96% to Rs 141.65 on the BSE after net profit fell 39.3% to Rs 8.77 crore on 8.8% increase in net sales to Rs 150.09 crore in Q4 March 2017 over Q4 March 2016.

The stock had hit a record high of Rs 204 on 6 September 2016 and a 52-week low of Rs 105 on 14 March 2017. The stock has delivered negative returns of 6.59% in a period of one year and has underperformed the BSE Small Cap and BSE Metal indices over the same time span.
