Petronet LNG Surges Over 3% Hits Intraday High


The stock of Petronet LNG on Monday surged over 3% in the pre-lunch session on the BSE. It is trading at Rs 450 per share, up by 3.3% at 01:42 PM IST.

It hit an intraday high of Rs 455.35 per share. It also witnessed a spurt in volume by more than 1.52 times.

On the NSE, the traded volume of shares of the company is 24,90,159 and the traded value is Rs 11,173.59 lakhs. The free-float market capitalisation of the stock is Rs 13,059 crores.

The company’s peers include Indian Oil Corporation, Castrol India and Tide Water Oil (India).

The BSE Oil & Gas index is trading up 0.7% at 14,383. Other stocks in the index such as ONGC, Indraprastha Gas, GAIL and HPCL are also trading in green.

Petronet LNG Ltd is an Indian oil and gas company formed by the government of India to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) and set up LNG terminals in the country.
