S Chand Stock Shows Weakness On Its Second Day Of Trading


On its second day of trading, S Chand and Company Limited stock opened at Rs 678 per share on NSE up by 0.29% as against its previous close and up by 1.2% as against its issue price. However, the stock is currently trading lower by 1.6% at Rs 664.9 per share.

The stock has attracted the traded volume of 5,69,740 shares and traded value of Rs 37.87 Cr.

As per the data available with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), S Chand and Company Limited got listed on the exchanges on Tuesday with a premium of 5.52% at Rs 707 per share.

On National Stock Exchange, the shares of the company got listed at Rs 700 per share, up by 4.48% as compared to its issue price.

As per the market analysts, the growth parameters of the company are quite good with respect to its peers. The company has reported the compounded revenue growth of around 33% over past four years which is very good as against its peers. Indian markets are mostly unorganised in the education sector.

The IPO issue had received a huge response and it was oversubscribed by 59.49 times.
