SpiceJet Up By 3%, Launches International Flights

The budget airline SpiceJet soared on the stock market today, May 3. 2017, as its share prices went up by over 3 per cent on the bourses.

The airline company is set to launch its first international flight from Thiruvananthapuram on May 10, 2017, to Male, the capital city of Maldives. The flight will be operated with Bombardier Q400 daily, having a seating capacity of 78.

From May 16, 2017, the airlines is also launching an international flight from Kolkata to Dhaka. Recently the airline also announced that it will provide visa services for 14 days or 30 days for Indian passengers flying to Dubai on its flight. The prerequisite for this services will be a valid passport and roundtrip tickets. 

At 11:00 hrs IST, the stock traded at Rs 115.75, up by 3.07 per cent on the BSE as on May 3, 2017.
