Aviation Stocks Rally Over 2%


The stocks of aviation were trading bullish during the early hours of Wednesday’s trade. Jet Airways surged to 2.65% at Rs 563.75 per share, Interglobe Aviation was at Rs 1255.50 per share up nearly 2% and SpiceJet was up 2.53% at Rs 129.80 per share on the BSE.

Oil prices witnessed a dip in overseas market as investors and traders were wary about the strong compliance by OPEC and non-OPEC oil producers deal to cut global output.

Brent was down 6 cents at USD 45.96 per barrel. The benchmark closed down by 89 cents or 1.9% on Tuesday’s session.

On NSE, Interglobe Aviation and Jet Airways witnessed long built up position in Wednesday’s trade.

BSE Sensex was trading in a negative territory slipping over 77 points or 0.25% at 31,219 level followed by Nifty dipping over 36 points or 0.37% at 9,617 level on Wednesday’s intraday trade.
