Eris Lifesciences Raises Rs 779.4 Crore Via Anchor Investors

Eris Lifesciences, an Ahmedabad-based company on Thursday has raised Rs 779.43 crore from anchor investors ahead of its Rs 1,800 crore initial public offer (IPO).

The anchor book allocation saw institutional investors buy 12.9 million shares at the upper end of the price band.

Institutional investors who participated in the anchor book allocation included Goldman Sachs India Ltd, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, SBI Magnum Balanced Fund, SBI Magnum Midcap Fund, SBI Magnum Balanced Fund, Morgan Stanley India Investment Fund Inc., FIL Investments (Mauritius) Ltd, Merrill Lynch Markets Singapore Pte Ltd, Birla Sun Life Balanced and IDFC Premier Equity Fund.

Eris’s IPO opens on Friday. The company has set a price band of Rs 600-603 per share for the share sale. The offering, which closes on 20 June, will raise Rs1,741.1 crore at the upper end of the price band.
