HDFC Twins Hits 52-Week High

Nifty heavyweights HDFC and HDFC Bank are sizzling on the bourses after hitting its 52-week high during the Tuesday’s trading session.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), is a major provider of finance for housing in India. The stock hits its 52-week high of Rs 1,673 per share and was up by 1.8%. It had hit its 52-week low of Rs 1,183 per share on 16 June 2016.

HDFC Bank is India’s largest private sector lender. The company’s stock hit its 52-week high of Rs 1,679 per share rising 0.5%. It had earlier hit its 52-week low of Rs 1,144.25 per share on June 14 2016.

HDFC Bank is contributing nearly 65% to the BSE Bankex and the twins are heavily contributing to both the BSE Bankex and benchmark Sensex index gains.
