IDBI Bank Seek Shareholders Nod For Raising Of Capital


State-owned IDBI Bank is seeking shareholders’ nod to raise equity capital of up to Rs 5,000 crore through one or more modes. These modes include by way of public issue, rights issue, qualified institutional placement and/or on a private placement basis.

In addition to this, the bank is planning to tap the market to raise up to Rs 5,000 crore through infrastructure bonds and Basel-III-compliant additional tier-I and tier-II bonds.

Meanwhile, Nifty and Sensex witnessed gap-up opening in the Monday’s trading session. Nifty opened at 9,626 level higher by 38 points and Sensex opened 112 higher by 31,168 level. All the sectoral indices on NSE are in the green territory with a fairly positive sentiment.
