La Opala RG Soars 2%, Madhupur Plant To Resume Operation

La Opala RG Limited has informed that suspension of activities at its Madhupur plant has been lifted, following an amicable settlement with the Worker’s Union on June 21, 2017, the company said in its filing to BSE on Thursday.

The company expects to resume operations at the plant gradually on a planned basis and is expected to reach full normalcy by July 10, 2017. According to the company, the operations at the plant was temporarily suspended due to unreasonable demands from Worker’s Union.

Meanwhile, the stock jumped over 2% at Rs 519.95 per share on BSE during the early hours of trade on Friday.

On NSE, the stock attracted a traded volume of 207 shares and a traded value of Rs 1.08 lakh during the morning hours.
