Wockhardt Gets Tentative USFDA Approval For Bendamustine Hydrochloride Injection

Wockhardt has received tentative approval from the U.S FDA for Bendamustine Hydrochloride injection, which is used in chemotherapy, reported a leading news agency.

The stock was trading higher by 2.9% at Rs 643.25 per share at 0929 hours IST on BSE. It hit a high of Rs 644.80 and a low of Rs 630.70 in the morning session.

On the NSE, the traded volume of shares is 3,07,965 and the traded value is Rs 1,969.62 lakh. The free float market capitalisation of the company is Rs 1,797.41 crore. Its peers include Lupin, Sanofi India and Strides Shasun.

Wockhardt Limited is a pharmaceutical and biotechnology company. Its businesses include manufacture and marketing of pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical formulations, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and vaccines.
